Paper Tech Eswatini (PTE) is a newly established corrugated paper manufacturing company located in the Matsapha Industrial Area, the industrial hub of Eswatini. As the only manufacturer of corrugated paper and carton boxes in the Kingdom, PTE plays a critical role in transforming local packaging needs by offering sustainable, affordable, and locally produced alternatives.
Previously, most packaging solutions were imported from neighboring countries, which inflated production costs and hindered local entrepreneurship. Paper Tech Eswatini fills this gap by producing packaging locally — supporting economic growth, lowering consumer prices, and enabling small to medium enterprises to flourish.

For years, packaging in Eswatini was a silent struggle — a behind-the-scenes problem that most businesses never talked about, yet all of them felt.
In factories, fields, and workshops across the Kingdom, local entrepreneurs, farmers, and manufacturers worked tirelessly to produce homegrown products: fresh fruit, handmade candles, bottled beverages, crafted glassware, and so much more. But when it came time to get their goods to market, they all ran into the same wall: There were no boxes.
Not here. Not made in Eswatini.
So, they turned outward.
Packaging had to be imported — mostly from South Africa and other neighboring countries. At first glance, this seemed like a simple solution. But over time, the true costs revealed themselves.
For years, local producers paid the price—literally—for packaging made beyond Eswatini’s borders. High costs, long delays, and limited access left small businesses struggling to grow.
Without local packaging, Eswatini exported raw goods and imported finished ones—losing profit, innovation, and control along the way.
